The cherry—or should we say cake—on top of our amazing wedding day! Courtney was an absolute joy to work with, and the cake was both stunning and delicious. Each tier—chocolate, lemon blueberry, and snickerdoodle—was a hit! The vintage piping design perfectly matched the Art Deco vision we had for our wedding at The Brick. Thank you so much! Couldn't reccomend C'est La Vie Cakes enough for wedding cakes! Our whole experience with Courtney was great. We got to try many flavors at the tasting and Courtney took notes on which were our favorites. Then we made our final decision a month or two before our weddiing. The cake was not only stunning, but it was sooo delicious! I'm not usually a huge cake person and I ate three pieces that night LOL. Thank you so much Courtney!!

Courtney at C'est La Vie is an artist! I gave her a few inspiration photos for what I wanted our wedding cake to look like, and her creation was absolutely stunning! It was a 3-tier cake with a solid burgundy base, the middle tier was a solid mauve color and the top was a marbled design! Our cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments throughout the night! Not a slice or cupcake was left in sight by the end of the reception! Thank you so much for creating the most beautiful cake a girl could ask for!
We hired C'est La Vie Cakes for our wedding last weekend in Buchanan, MI! We can't say enough good things about the owner and her amazing business! When she accommodated us THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS for a tasting, Courtney provided us with a warm welcome, a HUGE spread of many different desserts/ flavor combos and lots of laughs! We went with a two tier cake and dessert bar. Our cake flavor was her Champagne & Raspberry and oh my, was it divine! But her dessert display, absolutely blew everyone away! C’est La Vie Cakes was a SLAMDUNK for our wedding cake and dessert table. Courtney is professional, kind, and makes LITERALLY the best of every dessert you’ve ever tasted. You WILL NOT find a better cake anywhere else! Her little shop is absolutely adorable and our tasting experience was a dream. Courtney was such a pleasure to work with. Our cutting cake for our wedding turned out exactly how we wanted it to look and taste. The sheet cakes for the guests were super tasty. There was a winter storm the day of our wedding, so we had a ton of leftover cake that we took to work the next day. Courtney did my wedding cake in January and she did such a good job. It tasted delicious and everyone loved it. She even got it delivered with no problems or issues and it was a bit of a drive and snowy. I went to quite a few other bakeries in our area and none of them tasted good. I was starting to get discouraged and then my tasting with Cest La Vie came and thank God! Friendly service, tons of choices, and super good quality and taste 🩷 her prices are very fair too. 10/10 can’t complain!
